Events

ZSN holds a variety of regular events that aim to bring together people working in the fields of shipping including traders, shipowners, charterers, shipbrokers, agents, bankers, equipment providers and legal experts. With at least six events every year, the events include seminars with presentations on a topic of interest to the shipping community followed by a networking Apéro, or social events such as ZSN’s Christmas/end of year party which was attended by over 60 people, as well as site visits, such as recent trips to the international port of Basel, the Wintertur Gas & Diesel main engine test facilities, and the Shipyard in Lucerne. 

Viewed as an excellent Corporate Social Responsibility opportunity and/or a marketing platform, these events are often sponsored by different hosting companies and are free of charge for attendees.
