Nautica Technologies is a Swiss robotics startup founded in 2024 developing autonomous

underwater robotic systems to transform maritime hull maintenance by proactively cleaning

and inspecting ship hulls, reducing fuel use, emissions, and operational costs with their AI-

powered technology.

In April 2025 the IMO Marine Environment Protection Committee approved measures including a new fuel

standard for ships and a global pricing mechanism for emissions. Assuming these measures, including the new

greenhouse gas fuel intensity (GFI) standards, are formally adopted in October 2025, they will become

mandatory for ocean-going ships over 5,000 gross tons when they enter into force in 2027. We are

delighted to invite you to an event hosted by the Axpo group at their headquarters in Baden, Aargau,

covering this topic.
